This is one strange arc, not to mention dog. Oh, I know dogs and cats sometimes do plants for a meal, but usually only when they’re sick. Although, my Ellie Mae does like helping me polish off the rest of my tossed salad, but only when mixed with her food.

Hey Snoopy! How about planting some Cat-Nip? It might make your neighbor happy. Or at least visit you more often.

I choose to believe that Snoopy can’t communicate with Linus, and so Linus only has Snoopy’s actions to go on. So Snoopy clearly understands and has considered what Linus has said, and is now gesturing for no apparent reason.

Funny, but in the other story line about a flood in their neighborhood, it was Snoopy trapped on top of his doghouse, so why is that area dry now when it had flooded before?

Though the “ballfield” may be on even lower ground, I suppose.

Now Linus wonders why Charlie couldn’t have a normal dog like everyone else.

The canine is canny when it comes to responsibilities.
