Are they asking us to choose between children and our beloved AR-15. Too late, that choice has already been made.

Wish the media would release the name of the “well regulated Militia” the shooters belong to. Perhaps, if public knew the name of these organizations they could pressure them to be a tad more discriminate with their members applications.

“Pro-life” Republicans are more afraid that children will read, than that they will die.

How many Afghanistans does it take to make people understand that you cannot kill an idea? You can shoot people for stating it, and the idea will actually grow as a result. You can threaten people so they won’t express it in your presence, but you can’t kill an idea.

Removing books from the library makes those books more precious and will make them more sought out. And, given the openness of the internet, removing physical books will have no real effect on our young people.

Which state was it that banned Anne Frank because “her mistaken religion was upheld, and she wasn’t sanctioned for it”? The Nazis sanctioned her. Wasn’t that enough for those buggerups?

Not sure why the gun-totin’ citizen seems to be giving the GQP Police the side-eye. They’re on the same team.

Books are a threat to the Republican Party. Guns are only threats to children. It’s all good.

Americans love their guns more than their children! Airplanes were threatened decades ago and we figured out how to make them safe.

What a coincidence that the books they ban all speak against hate and basically any characters that aren’t straight white men. “Inappropriate” or just people who don’t think like straight white men? You decide.

I would rather give my children a copy of Fun Home or Genderqueer if it helped deter them from drugs or suicide. Yes, I’ve read both cover to cover.
