Actually, the National Rifle Association is a fine example of a domestic terrorist organization, just as the “so-called” republican party has morphed into a quasi-religious cult deifying a narcissistic misogynist who is also a pathological liar.

But, by gum, the 2nd Amendment is being protected … /s

Who elected the politicians continuing this fun?:

I refuse the accept the slaughter of children and other people as “normal.” Unfortunately it is in America.

There are countries with higher homicide rates than the United States. They are either engaged in Civil War or run by drug lords.

“Woke” European countries have a fraction of the gun violence of the United States. For them school shootings don’t happen several times a year and mass shootings don’t happen several times a week. For them gun violence is NOT normal.

Now I am sure that some macho-because-he-has-an-AR-15 type is going to tell me to leave: “America love it or leave it” and that I have no right to live in HIS country. If he has more than 25 years service in the armed forces protecting and defending the Constitution against all enemies foreign and DOMESTIC, then I might listen to him. Otherwise he has no right to lecture me on what it means to love America.

Nationalists fight for their nation. Patriots fight for its people.

America, land of gun care and health control.

I remember patriotism was very high during the Viet Nam War and there were mass marches protesting the war.

Patriotism levels in AMERICA have diminished …no one cares anymore! Social media took care of that! People are less religious, families are not close, parents aren’t teaching their kids manners, respect, etc. Government has failed We the people, greed has taken hold of the USA!

America has fallen before our eyesGreed has more weight than truth, order, and patriotism!

One out of three isn’t bad to the NRA. /S

Took me a minute, bu eventually I got it.

If the moderate republicans really wanted to re-take their party, they could show up at the primaries vote for sensible candidates. Since they don’t, I’m convinced they actually agree with their fringe. BTW, the democrats are pretty much the same, although they do not seem to put up as many outliers as the repubs.

Those of you who managed to stay awake (or be awoke) in church a couple of Sundays ago might recall this:

Matthew 5:23-24:

“Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift.”

If you are not going to reconcile gun violence then don’t offer your “thoughts and prayers.”
