But if they solve the drought problem through better water management, then what will justify their climate policies?

^ Some people do not understand even if people are not impacted by the drought, nature is.

Yep, it’s raining again today (right now in fact).

I can see Ms. Benson is trying to say that California is foolishly wasting water it should store (because of environmental concerns???). It’s true that there have been no new dams since 1980, but is one being built up near Sacramento, now.

Why not more? Well, it’s not so easy to build a dam. It’s very expensive to build one. All the best places to build a dam and a reservoir all ready have dams and reservoirs. And dams have a significant environmental impact (salmon, for instance, can’t reproduce if they can’t swim up river to where they do their thing).

Californians aren’t stupid. We know this is a problem. We also know that there are no easy solutions here.

Don’t do anything to slow down or stop climate change. We’ve got to oppose anything the libs propose, because, well, it annoys the libs. /s

Why just pump that water into the ground as fast as you can. Don’t worry about the earth shifts.

    STORAGE, Lisa. Storage.

Yes, right now they have plenty of water. More than they can handle, as a matter of fact. Because they dont have anywhere to PUT it.

Precipitation was “overly abundant” this winter in CA so now it is obvious climate change is all fake. /s

As a Californian, I can tell you that we’re LOVING the rain! Yes, the floods are inconvenient (but we expected them nonetheless) and it’s terrible people have died (name me a natural disaster that HASN’T), but this was overdue. Our reservoirs are filled up, the rivers are flowing, the plants are reviving…Frankly, this claim that we need to find a solution to water storage shows how out of date Lisa is. We already have one. A big was approved way back in January, even. Look, Lisa, you hate blue and any states that affiliate with it. I get it. But you need to attack something of value. This ain’t it.

At first glance I thought this was the U.S. capitol building, and Lisa had finally caught on to the risk of climate-induced sea level rise. Silly me.

Well, this ought a help LaLa Land amass more problems:

Reparations for Black Californians could top $800 billion

Sure, why not? When they run out of state money, we, the deplorable realists who can do math, will have to bail out the state with our tax provided federal funds.

Every tax payer has been enslaved by greedy, inefficient, unnecessary government programs and employees, reparations for all.

Stupid cartoon. One year does not solve a problem. Reservoirs were almost emptied and in California many farms were going broke and a stupid cartoonist thinks it’s a joke.
