“The Talking Dead.”
I’ve been to parties like that.
The din, the clamor! Mute! Mute!
Take some weird topic and talk trash
Or the show’s ratings have a crash
If you don′t rant in a mass mess till four
You ain’t gonna stay on air no more
Yakety yak (Please talk back)
They do that on Argentinian TV!!!
❝ ʟᴇᴛ’s ᴀʟʟ ᴄʜᴀɴɢᴇ ᴛʜᴇ ᴄʜᴀɴɴᴇʟ ❞
Sounds like a GREAT show! I want to watch it!!
That would be “The View.” Good discussions, but I can’t stand them all talking at once. Guess it’s a woman thing …
Sounds like congress,
The first rule of Psychobabble Club, is not to talk about Psychobabble Club.
Every time I go to Firestone to get an alignment their TV has the View on. All those women talking at once. I ask them to change channel.
Jerry Springer suggest throwing chairs.
This is every morning on Today Show and GMA. Everyone talks at once.
Directed by Robert Altman
I despise talking head shows of all kinds. I have programmed my TV to automatically skip past them.
When communicating remotely (like on Zoom), with a slight time delay, talking at the same time can happen a lot.
Never, never let someone finish a thought. Or complete a sentence.
Just like Tristan Tzara’s dadaist “Simultaneous Poetry Readings”
Sounds like cable news.
And the winner is…
Reading the and comics, and the comments, I’m glad to see what I’m missing.
This is why these panel shows are worthless. Even if someone had a valid point (which no one ever does) it would be drowned out.
I’ve seen that show. But not for long.
AKA the view
I automatically think of the Tennessee Valley when ever some one refers to TV. I have a library card and no tv.
Finally, a real “reality” show.
Makes more sense than most UNreality shows
