Meta, Twitter & YouTube want them shut down so only they control what you see. And they are wineing & dining the pols to make it come true. Hundreds of small American businesses run on Tic-Tok as well as content from marginalized voices. How many of the Congress folk that tried to shut down the transfer of power what to kill Tic-Tok? How much are they getting from the other media sites? Is Congress trying to shut down the collection of data from the other sites? Not that I’ve heard.

Spying with social media apps is the exclusive right of American companies.. They must not allow any competition.
