I used this same teaching method when I did my student teaching. Have the student that gets the lesson work with another student. This reinforces the lesson is the first student and gets the second student to focus more.

It’s hard to get a whole room of small students to focus.

A new love interest for Amelia?….

I think this strip would have worked much better if the third panel had zoomed in even more than the second, so that Wallace’s “calm” face would not have been visible. As it is, he seems to be taking the outburst in stride, and his “surprised” reaction comes too late.
