Kareem coached Alchesay (a high school on a Native American reservation) way back in 1998, 25 years ago.

Alcindor averaged 32 minutes a game at UCLA. Coach John Wooden was quoted, Lewis does a good job of pacing himself.

Wow! Gil must have blown all of his Lift-a-thon earnings to bring the big guy in to help coach. Too bad, Dr. Pearl will have to spend the rest of the year slinging hash in the school cafeteria.

My mom was born in New York Nursery & Child’s Hospital , the hospital which was later turned into Power Memorial, the high School Kareem graduated from.

Kareem is going to help them deal with all the balls that Henry has in the air.

I’m a little concerned with ToBe. It looks like he has a blatantly obvious crush on Kareem. Not sure if that age gap can be overcome. And speaking of overcome, you might be overcome with emotion after reading today’s Mopped Up Thorp. I don’t know why you would, it’s rather bland. But I needed to play off of some word in that sentence.

I think todays drawing of ToBe makes him look like a teenage girl. But that’s how my old eyes see it. P.S. Mop today comic was not bland. It was funnier that $hit.
