One would think you are too smart to believe this.

    Apparently one would be wrong.

How can you even compare the two? Tucker’s is a distortion twisted to pacify the delusional. His messages between himself and other fox “commentators” prove that he is perfectly willing to spread lies, and he does. As Rupert Murdoch said It’s not about red or blue it’s about green, meaning all he and fox care about is making money. The sad thing is that gullible people believe the lies

The situation in rural America has been deliberately designed by 1%ers to produce MAGAts. They own the news outlets that broadcast the conservative propaganda, and use them specifically for that purpose. In some areas, the only actual news is on the local main stream networks, and they have bent over backwards for years to not take sides, even when one side is obviously lying. And, the people they have coffee with, go to church (or the bar) with etc are dealing with the same situation. That means that real people that you know and trust are backing up what you are getting from the propaganda machine. Unless you are a really intelligent, involved person, you are going to accept the world you see, unaware that it has been paid for and organized by people who are working against your best interests. Now, consider the possibility that the world you live in is not only being exposed as fake by the real news agencies, but even Faux news has now decided they can’t keep up the hoax and will have to get real occasionally. You are faced with the situation of having lived in a farce your entire life. Can you imagine how frightening that would be? Be generous with them. They are victims of the 1%. If we don’t rub their noses in the situation and support them, they may be able to see the truth.

Is our collective memory so short we don’t remember the carnage that filled our screens on January 6? The unfiltered un-spun live feeds from all mainstream media transmitted the unvarnished truth of Congress in chaos from a MAGA mob. Kelley and Tucker are trying to rewrite history. Selective editing by ANYONE won’t change what really happened. Don’t forget what your own eyes saw.

I’m borrowing and paraphrasing this from Lawrence O’Donnell:

I guess if you leave out that Zapruder film stuff, JFK had a fairly pleasant day in Dallas on November 22, 1963.

“telling half the story” is such a BS mindset for an argument.

Sometimes one half of the story is one hundred times more important than the other half, and as such is the half that needs to be told.

People tried to take over the Capitol. This hasn’t happened since 1860. This will be in the history books for the rest of time. That’s the story.

Steve Kelley, the January 6 committee didn’t leave out half the story. They didn’t fabricate any fact, act or narrative. They didn’t need to.

There’s a large difference between widespread violence shown that was already witnessed on live feeds, and editing hours of video to find a few people who actually were being peaceful.

GQPs ignore that the whole nation saw hours of Jan 6 violence on live TV. GQPs might be able to delude themselves into believing that the violence never happened, but they only fool themselves.

The Jan 6 Committee presented footage of witnesses under oath. Many of those witnesses are Republicans, and some even worked in the Trump administration. Call them liars if you want, but if you do you are calling Republicans and Trump administration staff “liars”.

Lawyers for Fox and Tucker Carlson call his show entertainment, not news, and they said that no one with any sense would believe anything he says.

The videos released from the 1/6 committee didn’t selectively edit and lie. Lying seems to be the talents of Carlson and Kelley.

The first release from Carlson said that Josh Hawley was treated unfairly because others were running. But he left out that the others didn’t encourage the insurrections with a raised fist and THEN RAN AWAY.

The Sir Robin song comes to mind…..

So funny to watch these liberals with their hair on fire. OMG, it’s the worst thing since the Civil war or 9/11. A couple of tours was worse than 9/11? Thank God there is another side willing to expose the blatant b.s. constantly spread by lying liberal A Holes.
