There she goes…steamrolling a deal she thinks she wants. And when it all goes terribly wrong she’ll blame Marcie, or CB, or Snoopy—or all of them at once.

Peppermint Patty is bound to be a successful used car sales lady when she grows up.

It sounds like the type of raw deal our current Red Sox tend to make lately. Trade the useful for the useless!

Marcie for Snoopy and a cast to be named later…

This could work out very well for Charlie. He could move Linus to shortstop and put Marcie in as catcher. That way, she needn’t move very much, since she already hates baseball, and Linus gets to further instruct Charlie. And with a lame shortstop on Patty’s team, the odds for Charlie will be better.

That’s a good deal.

Would Marcie like it better with a pitch clock and larger bases and someone on second base to start extra innings?

You can’t explain anything to Peppermint Patty.

She tried this before. Traded Snoopy for five players. Chuck got racked with guilt and tore up the trade agreement. Didn’t matter because the five players (never named and this was before Marcie) said they would quit rather than play for CB’s squad

The extent to which she assumes Charlie Brown has said things he hasn’t is really shocking.

Peppermint Patty has a great future as a radio deejay or a sales droid.

I’m betting when this strip originally ran,some baseball team traded for a player who turned out to be “damaged goods”.

As was said about Peppermint Patty in A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, you can’t tell her anything because she never let’s you get a word in.
