I’ve known quite a few people who have owned dogs and birds & some who have had dogs and cats but I can’t think of anyone who has had cats and birds (aside from Tweety & Sylvester lol) Perhaps people worry cats will try to get the birds
We tried to warn a friend who had a free-range indoor parakeet not to adopt a feral female cat we were taking care of that could feed itself outside but she did anyway. The first time the parakeet left the cage the cat took one swipe and practically split the bird in two. Not a good match!
Our cats could never figure out how to get into the guinea pig cage, but they’d paw at the wires a lot. The guinea pig thot they were being friendly, so he kept coming up to his side of the barrier and trying to nose-kiss them, meeping all the while. Friendly little guy. I could never understand how anyone could use such sweet, inoffensive little critters for experimentation.

I meant, I’m constantly dogged by my parrot.

I love how Pilsner can lay a guilt trip on Moondog just by looking at him. ;-D

AFV a week ago showed a parrot calling a dog video – it won first place. Dog fell for it everytime.

Philosophical question for discussion: can a parrot give you the Evil Eye?
Dogs or cats?
Nice save, Moonie….
