Yeah. Daryl thought it was a workshop for children and was anxious for Wanda to take the kids out of the house and having the house all to himself. No such luck, Daryl. It is for adults, not children. It is about learning how to write books for children. Sorry, Daryl.
Did it for a week with my three girls, although they were older than Zoe Hammie, and Wren and far more disciplined. The only glitch was when I had a fire call (was a volunteer fireman) at 11:00 PM that went to the next morning. Fortunately the oldest (aged 14) figured I was at a fire call and got her sisters up, dressed, fed and everyone off to school. Of course I had to provide a large pepperoni pizza as a reward that evening.

Maybe he didn’t know what a children’s book workshop was and he expected her to take the kids with her.

You could farm them out, Wanda. But please make him take care of them. You might return to a disaster, though…..

Wanda can meet Opal from Pickles and Luann from Luann. Lots of budding writers lately.

Are there no grandparents to pawn the kids off on for “quality family time?”

Wanda is known for her YouTube channel, so if she writes a children’s book, she’s got a ready-made market.
