For those who come in late, these fabulous fun funnies was envisioned and executed so brilliantly by FoXo Reardon, a true master cartoonist who told his funny tales with his awesome artwork alone, without any of his characters in BOZO ever saying a single word.

An especially excellent epitome of pictures speaking thousand words, BOZO also the most pleasant picturesque pantomime where every panel is like a photograph of a three-dimensional cartoon world of realistic-looking depths and details. Such was his powerful perspective artwork which brought to life a lovely lively world of BOZO!

FoXo a rare combination of both sharp wits and artistic talents which is rarely seen together in the same cartoonist, a true master and professional cartoonist whose work quality speaks for itself and as you can see for yourself BOZO is pure gold coming from a golden era of cartooning! So no wonder that these wonderful wordless wonders still bring great joy and sheer cheer to many even today.

But despite being a great classic of great creative calibre, neither BOZO nor FoXo are much known or remembered these days.

That barber pole used to be a symbol for both O’Hare’s and Pullem’s professions. Maybe it still is.

Knock Out – Bozo certainly had a nuanced relationship with the police.

In Knock Out the cop got it too. He found out who he’s up against.

1. In the first panel. Is that a signal used in steel or crane work?

2. The legendary glass jaw? Sans guffaw.

3. The meaning behind the colors in the Barber Pole may be apropos for both shops. Might be the same proprietor for that matter.

1) Bozo likes the fresh air while delivering steel beams to the 30th floor.

2) Careful, Joe. Bozo’s no palooka and can hit like a bazooka!

3) You’d think Bozo would remember the incident with the bulldog the other day and realized Dr. Pullem was a dentist.

1) THE OTHER MAN OF STEEL: On the job site, Bozo shows his mettle by holding a steel beam with one hand as he is lifted up!

2) SMOKE IN THE FACE: Bozo allows the sweet smoke blown in his face. Humm. However, when the lout “K.O. Joe” begins his horse laughing that was it! Bozo kayos the bruiser and takes the cigar away and takes off angry!

3) PULL MY TOOTH?: Bozo is in the chair to get his hair trimmed then this guy reaches in to pull a tooth or two. Hell, no he won’t, socks the dentist and goes next door to the barber he should have gone to first!

It’s no Bozo Wednesday!

In the 2nd strip-‘Knock out’- I just noticed 1. Bozo got the cop’s cigar, and 2. HA! it sure looks like Bozo is giving the cop the middle finger! (Bozo is definitely not giving us viewers the bird, because I wasn’t offended!) p.s. this is probably that cops last day on the force. Ha! it was his first day on the job, and also his last!
