On Friday the wind chill at the summit of New Hampshire’s Mount Washington dropped to minus-108 degrees, marking what meteorologists and climate scientists say probably is the lowest temperature recorded in the history of the United States. NASA states that’s 2 degrees colder than this week’s average temperature on Mars!

Where’d the tubes come from? Must’ve been a Wiz spell for inner-tubes. Too bad he couldn’t use a spell for a chair lift.

There is so much ice here I could probably slide right off my front porch and land on my face with no dignity at all. I salt about 5 times a day.
