House Republicans prep for civil war over cuts to Social Security and Medicare: ‘The numbers can’t work’ without them
House Republicans are refusing to raise the debt ceiling without cutting federal spending — but lawmakers can’t agree on what programs should be trimmed. Fiscal conservatives have long sought a balanced budget, but a recent analysis by the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget shows that’s impossible without cutting Medicare and Social Security — which would be deeply unpopular with voters, reported Axios.
The Senate will not vote for this, republigoons will waste the next two years.
Did any of you people understand the cartoon? By your posts, apparently not; you’ve all gone off on some non-sequitur diatribe about the GOP. It’s about our elected officials thinking all is right in the world when, in fact, they are driving the country off a cliff. Try to focus, we all know you hate anything not progressive but it would help your “credibility” to address the actual cartoon.

The Biden Administration has done a pretty good job by any measure, of things they actually had some control over.

Traitor Republicans want to hold the USA hostage over the debt ceiling and they promise to crash the country if they don’t get their way.

Not the car off the cliff analogy, so weak. Don’t come back until you have an original thought please.
