There are bound to be limits to a genie’s powers. Fixing the world is probably beyond their ability or the world would have been fixed already.

I believe someone on Mars, millions of years ago, made those wishes. They now have a peaceful planet without hunger. (at least for a little while longer).

We are talking about Hawthorn here. None of those wishes will make it ro his top 3.

Megan, this is Hawthorne you’re talking about here. There’s no way he’s gonna use the genie to wish for something selfless.

I’ve often thought what I would wish for if I had three wishes (and couldn’t wish for more wishes)… My first wish would be for a thyroid since I no longer have one due to cancer. Then I really cannot decide for the other two!! Too many possibilities. What would you wish for?

You’re dealing with a genie. The way he would grant Megan’s two wishes would be to kill every living thing on the planet: no world hunger because there’s nothing left to be hungry; no more wars because there’s no one left to fight.

With genies, there’s always a string attached – just ask the guy that wanted to be white an in between….well, you know the joke.

The 1990 “DuckTales the Movie: Treasure of the Lost Lamp” had Huey, Dewey, Louie, and Webby find a genie and each get 3 wishes. After playing around with the wishes a bit, one of them says that they should wish for world peace. The genie responds something like, ‘hey kid, these are wishes, not miracles’. ;)

Don’t forget the water traps when playing golf; but for a fish, maybe it’s land traps.

I remember there was a really really old story arc where Hawthorne was playing but with clubs like the “2-claw, 3-claw” etc.
