Snoopy needs a knitting needle to slip into the cast and gently scratch.

Not to worry, it will stop in a few weeks. (Maybe.)

For a small dog sized cast, a crochet needle should do the trick.

Do a cartwheel when your foot in a cast itches!

That’s one downside about a cast.

One of life’s little ironies that it only takes a split second to cause the damage, but weeks or even months to heal it.

When I cut my arm almost completely off (1979), I had a full cast for only a few days, before the real itching began ….. then they had me a split cast as every day, for a week or so, so they could clean the dead skin and drain my arm …… I was lucky somewhat as I heal fast and had solid bones in 18 days ….. only problem was that it healed so fast that it trapped in staph infection ……. even now, when I had open heart surgery ….. still showed a trace of staph ……….. :(

I’ve often wondered how many astronauts got an itch while suited up for space. Must be really annoying.

It’s that bad now. Imagine if someone was scratching in front of him.

Snoopy needs one of those long thin wooden sticks with a little hand on the end of it like the one L. B. Jeffries used when he had an itch.

Somehow, I cannot see Snoopy wearing a cone of shame, though he seems to need one.

Looks like Snoopy’s gotta scratch where the sun don’t shine. Can’t lick it either…

I wonder if that’s still a problem with modern casts. That, and being able to bathe or shower.

I was lucky both times I had a cast in that it was for my wrist so my hand and forearm was in a cast. I could just stick the arm out of the bath tub and bathe the rest of me. For itches I just slid a rulle or metal coat hanger into the cast to scratch it.
