Wow, look at the time..

Essential tremors exacerbated by coffee? Now that’s scary!

Something you don’t want to hear. Coming from a guy holding a straight razor.

The trick is to synchronize your facial tremors with his hands.

There’s a song that goes, “C—O-F-F-E-E, coffee is not for me.”

Suddenly his five-o’clock shadow seems so much more appealing.

My BIL is a retired eye surgeon. He told me that he had to have enough coffee to be awake and alert, but not too much to give him the shakes.

Is this National Coffee Day or something? (See today’s Lola strip!!!)

Shave and a throat cut, two bits!

Cut, cut, cut, blood, spurt, artery, murder, Hitchcock, Psycho…

Years ago i regularly went to a neighborhood barber. Just before he shaved me he told me a story. It was about another barber who went crazy and slit a customers throat. (It was a true story. It was in the newspapers and on tv). I never let that barber shave me again.

I just remembered, this is grow a beard month.

One summer when I was back from school, I went in to get my hair cut by my great uncle, who had a barber shop near my home. The conversation was just normal small talk — football, the weather, etc. — until he took out the straight razor to shave my neck and near my ears, at which time he asked what I thought about UFOs. “I don’t know, Uncle Hines. What do you think about them?” I’m not about to argue with a man holding a straight razor to me, even if he is family!

I had a Phlebotomist with the same problem – carpel tunnel syndrome, even wore glove…

Serious question: can one still get a shave done by straight razor?

Never had a barber shave me and never will….

Coffee? Sure…

The barber may have warned him just in the nick of time.
