    In case you were wondering, a sabot (pronounced sa-BO) is a clog from France or surrounding countries.

    Those might look spruce to some, but they’re nut fir me.

    I’d be uncomfortable in them…. wooden shoe?

    And what if yew had acorn on your foot?

    Elm telling yew, I walnut wear something so silly.

    Even if they become poplar, I won’t really give a fig.

    I learned from “The Undiscovered Country: Star Trek 6” that “sabo” is the Dutch word for wooden shoes, also that the term “sabotage” came from throwing these heavy wooden shoes into the machinery to stop them from destroying the old livelihoods.
