It would be nice for local Dems to take urban violent crime seriously. It happens at random every day at all hours in most major cities. Democratic voters are the victims, but the likes of Ms. Sorenson totally ignore them and blithely declare . . . . “Our statistics show that crime is down . . . “ which is not only untrue but very unhelpful.

Financial markets are hoping Republicans take the House at least because they do NOTHING in office and that is good for the stock market.

I’m 75. I’ve been following politics since the mid ’50s. Yeah, disgusting geeky kid. The GOP has moved far enough to the right that the John Birch Society, which was a national punch line in the early ’60s, is now the mainstream of the GOP. The Dems are like the liberal Republicans of the ’50s. My late parents would be considered radicals instead of being the mainstream Dems they were back then.

Republicans have nothing. Anyone who tells you elect me, then I’ll tell you what I’m going to do, should have received zero votes. And, yet there are many Republicans that have said just that, some receiving enough votes to win their elections. People are never so blind, than when they are blind with hate. Especially, when their is no reasonable reason for that hate.

Let’s take a look at one single issue here, the borders.

Most of the smaller border communities simply don’t have the resources to adequately support and process the large numbers of migrants attempting to come across and are overwhelmed to the point of begging for help.

The current group of politicians in DC and many other cities are ignoring these pleas, leaving the communities to continue being overwhelmed to the point of not being able to provide support.

This is the heart of the issue for many people who politically identify as libertarian and conservative, that the people who are loudest about advocating for immigrants are often the slowest to actually provide support for the communities where those immigrants are coming through.

    1. Denying climate change that the models never got correct…2. Like the postal workers that accepted ballots that were dated wrong…3. Even though the illegals admitted that they came through open borders…4. The founder of the modern LGBTQ movement was a pedophile…5. Regulations and actions by the Fed overseen by Brandon…6. Said structural racism that never existed and how the 1619 project was called out bye academics.

To get his support to “save” democracy, they’ll have to give up any and all attempts to allow democracy.
