Tickling is never fun for the ticklee, no matter how hard they laugh.

I had a tonsillectomy at age 8 and got root beer floats, but never got launched into space from parents’ knees.

C’mon Petey, where’s the empathy? Ya put a dent in the ceiling; ya get a milkshake. You, obviously, don’t have a dent producing head.

Unbridled laughing, followed by crying. As an uncle, I know that routine all too well. Pushing the boundaries of fun until they break. Good times, great memories. The stuff of family bonding. You are welcome, kids!

Daddy Peter gets carried away with bouncy-bouncing Alice on his knee, and [scenes of ensuing disaster are REDACTED]. Milkshake palliative follows….

I liked the whirling. Child is swung, held by 1 wrist + 1 ankle, and given the choice (following the “catching fishes for my tea” line) of “dead” (drop gently to floor), “alive” (pull up), “or round the world” (whirl around pivoting parent), the expected favorite.
