This one has me confused too. . I think Ramirez is saying inflation is sucking the average person dry, and Biden is saying that under the inflation reduction act the government payouts – transfusions – will make things cheaper. . Or at least give you more “blood” to deal with inflation.

Don’t know about that, but the govt. is finally doing something about the high price of prescription medicine, the highest in the civilized world.

If the polls are accurate … the “Republicans” will take the House, wall out global inflation in ‘Merica, and we’ll all live happily ever after?

Not his best, but perhaps a sign Ramirez is trying to get more creative as the mid-terms approach. He’s been lazy lately, so I’d settle for some good cheap heat rather than the go-home heat he’s been tossing out lately.

It’s really too bad that the Republicans not only have not done nor proposed any measures to combat inflation but set the stage for it with the Trump 2017 tax cut. The Repubs also oppose measures to potentially assist consumers such as allowing the U.S. to negotiate with drug companies for Medicare approved drugs, killed $35 insulin doses, and are fighting against giving students relief from educational loans.

The Biden administration is using the only tool it can to reduce inflation, raising interest rates. It sucks, but there really isn’t much else to do. The Republican plan is to shade the Biden Administration, blame them for inflation and then………………..

Wages are way up too, but no mention of that.

Also, inflation is something like 20 percent in Russia. Do you really want to vote for Putin Puppet Republicans to bring that here?

The inflation reduction act DOES include legislation that reduces the cost of drugs for seniors.

Republicans are livid that it does, yet never mention that part.
