The inability to distinguish pot from hard drugs is a marker for “super‑conservatism”. Of course, the inability to believe that most people can and should have control over their actions is also such a marker.

Varvel actually believes that all pot users should go to prison. And stay there.

Except for Real Americans, of course. It’s OKAY If A Republican Does It!

Making pot legal puts the cartels out of business. Is that concept too hard for Gary?

Between 70 to 90 percent of guns recovered at crime scenes in Mexico can be traced back to the U.S. Drug cartels, in particular, buy those weapons in the U.S., mostly in Texas or Arizona, and smuggle them across the border.Feb 18, 2022

Varvel must be high if the thinks that they are relying on drug cartels for the pot growing businesses in the states where it is legal. They seem to be growing their own successfully.

As we have discussed previously, there is only a small number of people in federal prisons for marijuana possession. Biden’s action is neither as good nor as bad as folks make it seem.

Well, let’s see. With Open borders, 3 million illegal’s and counting, and 900,000 “got aways”, we have fentanyl deaths all across the country, children and women raped on their way to the border, competition for jobs that affect the poorest among us, and millions now flooding our schools, hospitals etc, soaking up our benefits and leaving little for citizens, again, affecting the lower-level income people the most. See that giant middle finger, Joe? Thats the folks in the southwest giving you the one finger salute.

A vast majority of the country agrees that simple possession should never have been a criminal offence in the first place.

It’s the other way around, Varvel. Legalizing marijuana means that Americans can grow and enjoy their own, cutting off drug cartels.

That is a stupid comic, apparently you are not aware that the cartels are growing their cannabis in the national forests in CA.

How many states have now legalised pot? You DO know that, historically, the only reason pot was made illegal was because it was cheaper and therefore the intoxicant of choice for blacks, right? It was always a blatantly racist policy. Not to mention that, in general, all prohibition does is give power to criminals. Portugal decriminalised everything years ago, reducing policing and health care costs. But, hey, by all means, carry on with your nonsense Puritanical garbage. I’ll just be here, outside your borders, eating popcorn while I watch the meltdown of the great experiment.
