I can understand the desire to skip the midterm madness, but…

This election is very important. Do NOT let the a-holes (or any other part of the alphabet, like maybe q) keep you from voting

(Sigh). Thanksgiving is MY favorite holiday. Why do we have to jump right through Hallanksgiving to Xmas (it’s surely NOT "Christ"mas for most).

Vote like your democracy depends on it. Because it does.

If you don’t vote, or elect candidates who have the have “R” for REJECT after their name, you will likely never have to bother with it again. Your Xmas presents will be oppression, insanity, and death. Thanks to the authortarian theocracy, which will make sure all future voting is counted and controlled by the righteous “patriots” of the imperial state.

We’ll be having none of that skipping Halloween stuff, if you don’t mind.

Right, if you can’t stop them from voting, at least discourage them. Call it “madness”.

It’s so easy to spot the political commercials. The R’s start theirs with fear factors. Infestation of immigrants, Inflation, soft on crime. There’s a lot about what they are against but nothing about what they are for.

Our local “Baby Trump” (funny how he’s not touting how much Trump loves him lately) did a Doctor Oz. He’s standing in a “boutique” grocery store telling us how Biden is solely responsible for world wide inflation.

Meanwhile, our incumbent D Representative tells us how she helped get legislation to lower drug prices past. She did not mention that EVERY Republican voted with Big Pharma to keep prices high. She did this commercial while sitting at her kitchen table.

Oh, by all means, regardless of your political affiliation, “skip the midterms.” But if you do, keep in mind that whatever happens is partially your fault. Granting that your single vote doesn’t seem like much, it helps me to remember that just one snowflake too many launches an avalanche, that one extra raindrop initiates the flood, and that just one single degree of temperature makes the difference between water and steam.

If you think that your vote doesn’t count, then why are there so many trying to stop us from voting!

Exactly what the authoritarian nationalist republicans are hoping the whole nation does, skip out on voting. That is less voters they need to suppress to retain their gerrymandered power.

    Meanwhile, in the real world:

Aside from restoring Roe rights, races in Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania & Arizona will determine whether the Electoral College will represent the popular vote, or the vote of Republican legislators.

When the next 2 elections are done Kali, NY & Illinois will try to secede. This is going to be interesting; Vote Red like your Freedom depends on it. Democrats had their chance; all they did was print funny money.
