Andy underestimated himself. He can sometimes mess up a job interview without trying.

Andy stuck, in a bind or in a sticky situation? Never.

Here’s an idea, Gerry: spare those poor horses and make glue out of that lazy bum and all his ilk!!

You can bet that Liz Truss won’t make it any easier for Andy.

I never really thought about it much, but why is Andy always going on these interviews from the “job centre” when he has no intention of taking a job. Is he supposed to be on some kind of government benefits program that requires him to be looking for work? I know how unemployment compensation works in the U.S., and there is in fact a job search requirement that varies by state. Is it the same or similar in the U.K.?

Would you listen to a man in a purple suit?Not only does Gerry have no sense of humour; he has no taste in clothes.
