    What??

The bill is to fund its IRS to recruit more people in the irs to catch people like the Mango mussolini trying to cheat the government by dodging taxes.

I know this and I’m not even American.

These right wingers I swear don’t know how to read THEIR OWN BILLS

Those on the right seem to be the first to criticize government and the services they offer. Road construction, airport delays, the mail is late, etc. Those same folks seem to want no part in funding said services (defense being a notable exception). Why the expectation of getting something for nothing? For those who purport to be Christian, why the recalcitrance to help your fellow man? Isn’t the love of money the root of all evil? Isn’t it easier for the camel to go through the eye of the needle than for the rich to enter the kingdom of heaven?

It violates Alt-Reich math and and philosophy, hiring more agents to bring in significantly higher revenues and using those revenues on programs benefitting all peoples.

The 87,000 new IRS agents will be phased in over the next 10 years. 50,000 are set to retire over that period. The net amount of IRS agents will match the amount employed in 2013. A certain unit of the IRS have been carrying firearms since 1919. But you already knew that, Kelly. Yet you and your fellow christian conservatives still purposefully bear false witness against President Biden.

Dems love to talk about corporate tax cheats, the same corporations they love to invest in. It isn’t cheating when you take advantage of deductions written into the tax code by Congress. Corporations have legions of accountants and lawyers to oversee their returns and have the funds to fight the IRS in court for a while, usually a settlement occurs because the IRS has unlimited resources and corporations don’t.

The weaponized IRS will be going after the middle class citizens and probably spend more on investigations than they get in return.

An example: Many years ago, my father in law (at the time) retired after many decades in the hotel business. He owned one older hotel in Nashville, TN when he retired. He told me he would be audited the following year because the IRS always audits a business owner upon the sale of the business. Sure enough, they did. An IRS agent spent about a week at the in laws farm, 8 hours per day, going over all the records. After all that time and money spent, the IRS disallowed the deduction he took for homeowners insurance on his home. Netted IRS less than $1,000.00 in taxes and penalties. How is that for government efficiency ?

The audits are for rich people and their tax scams who have gotten out of their fair share of taxes.

I pay more taxes than several major corporations.

Well in 2019 the IRS only had 79,000 employees and now they are getting 87,000 that they will be giving weapons to. So with the recent raid on Trump’s home where the FBI was able to tromp around without supervision and take whatever they wanted ‘as evidence’ it sounds like the social fascists will have fun persecuting Trump supporters (and anyone else they don’t like such as parents that have their own opinions).

Remember how Obama used the IRS to target conservatives? T he ‘funny’ thing about this is social fascists don’t realize how the IRS will be used against them as well. Anyone who thinks this is a good idea has the IQ of a turnip.

The new crop of auditors will need to prove themselves. They will start with the middle class and small businesses as the remaining senior auditors are already working on large businesses and the ‘rich’. Once they become more seasoned and gain some experience, the IRS will move these newbies over to do the audits of the populations so many of you like to demonize out of spite and envy.

As anyone who’s had a problem with the IRS lately can tell you, there is a terrible shortage of its employees which results in cheats (large &small, individuals & Businesses) gaming the system and not paying their fair share. There are also individuals with lesser tax problems who are not getting help because their human resources are cut so thin. And gee, how did that happen?

(photo of IRS cafeteria completely covered with files and folders)

It’s part of what the IRS calls the “Pipeline”: a 1970s-era assembly line used to process tax returns at several locations around the country. And it might give you a sense of why Congress is on the verge of handing the agency $80 billion through the Inflation Reduction Act — not only for more enforcement but also for tech modernization.

As of July 29, the IRS had a backlog of 10.2 million unprocessed individual returns. Blame the pandemic, sure, but also the agency’s embarrassingly outdated, paper-based system, which leaves stacks and stacks of returns cluttering shelves, hallways and even the cafeteria.

On the Pipeline, paper tax returns aren’t scanned into computers; instead, IRS employees manually keystroke the numbers from each document into the system, digit by digit.

This idea that hiring 87,000 IRS agents will reduce inflation (remember it’s part of the recent IRA) is ridiculous. There are only 173 billionaires. If you confiscated ALL their money, it wouldn’t make a dent on inflation. The gov’t will Always fall back on the middle class, because that is where the money is. Meanwhile, here’s a headline today, Aug 22. 77% say US headed in wrong direction: NBC poll. NBC is not exactly a Conservative news outlet. Gee, that spells trouble for the party in charge. (lol, snicker, he he).

So the lefties here would like everyone believe that those 87,000 new agents will be targeting the 200 odd Billionaires and about 700 ultra rich millionaires. So how does that math work out? Let me clue you in. Those ultra rich have a bevy of accountants, CPAs and attorneys to do their taxes. What? You think President Trump, Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Nancy Pelosi, Steve Jobs, etc. sit down and do their own taxes? That’s why only a fool or a political hater thinks that President Trump somehow cheated on his taxes.

Are there rich tax cheats? Sure, just look at the Hollywood, music and sport elites for this. However, due to our ridiculous over complex tax code, there are a lot more who make honest mistakes when filling out their returns. Most Americans can’t afford to pay someone else to do their taxes and it’s these people that the IRS targets. Then there is the flat out lie that those making less $400k will be exempt from audits or additional taxes. The Democrats already voted down those amendments, but you still see the lying left here making those claims.

The Republicans are going to be under higher scrutiny but if Democrats think they’re going to be exempt, they’re delusional. The bottom line is money and they’re coming after you too pal. No thinking average American, left or right, can think this to be a good thing.
