I saw recent news reports that Hurricane Fiona “blew avocados off the trees”. Not sure when removable fruit started being used as a measure of wind force. Possible the addition of the word “unripe” would have been a step in the right direction. :)
I wish my trees (and the other ones in the cul-de-sac) dropped leaves like that after their color peaked. Whoomf! Rake ‘em to the curb in one fell swoop and that’s that.

Did that tree just make a statement about Horace’s breath?

“Gone with the wind”, huh? And I told you before
Not to eat that beans galore
Does your…“will” should it be the last
Leave something for your “relatives” never seen in past?
Doth the leaves defiant to the storm and rain
Cometh down in one big pile
Just to make you – and only you! – insane
At least for a tiny, itsy, little while
