Remember their ties with foreign nationals? That’s what the ReThuglicans wished they could find on Hillary’s or Hunter’s phones and computers – but they never could. Now their own devices will lead to their wrong doings.

Remember that Alina Habba said that there’s no problem with the nuclear documents because the Velveeta Voldemort had to only think about declassifying them, and he didn’t need to do anything more than that? She’s the same person who called Latitia James a “black b___h” because she dared to investigate the Bulbous Buttwhistle’s (the serial grifter, liar, and crook) businesses which were all “perfectly legitimate” (riiiiiggghhhttt – and just how many Rump steaks could you buy with your degree from RumpU?)? And that legal genius who has apparently never tried a criminal case (most of her business was divorce cases) is defending his espionage. And Rump’s other lawyers can’t stand her and say she’s inept.

We have yet to hear a single Republican address a very simple question. Why did he take them?

He did it because he figured he could do anything he wanted to do. Fine, he’s nuts, we already knew that. The actual question is WHY DID HE WANT THEM?. Insurance when his other crimes were public knowledge? His bubby, Putin would like to have them, and he could buy him off? Something to convince some county with no extradition agreement to accept him when the Feds were after him? No reason I can imagine is innocent. In fact, all of them are pretty scary. Does anyone have something innocuous to explain his taking those documents?

I very much doubt trump himself took those super secret documents home. If.. it was that easy to take them from wherever they are kept.. America has a big security problem.

A key facet of the act — Section 793 — is concerned with “gathering, transmitting or losing defense information,” which relates to any document relating to national defense that “through gross negligence” was “illegally removed from its proper place of custody … to be lost, stolen, abstracted, or destroyed.”

Earlier this week, federal investigators took away numerous boxes of documents from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home in Florida. According to an unsealed search warrant and an accompanying property receipt, the FBI seized 11 classified documents, including some marked top secret.

In a statement released Friday, Trump didn’t deny a report by The Washington Post that said he took nuclear documents to Mar-a-Lago.

The DOJ is now investigating if Trump violated Section 793 of the Espionage Act and potentially broke two other laws, according to the warrant unsealed by the department on Friday.

A conviction under the Espionage Act carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in federal prison.

I knew the day Orange Face was sworn into office that the USA had become less safe. I’d have been much more surprised if Orange Goon had upheld his Constitutional responsibility to keep America safe from our foreign enemies.
