Part of Cliff’s “logic” is based on the false implied claim that he actually gave 110%.

The companies that demand 110% of your effort never offer 110% of your pay in return.

Pam, that 110% thing works best with people who have a large variation between 0% and 100%.

How did Cliff ever get that job? The recruiter must have been thinking, “Let’s see if we can find the laziest, most slovenly warm body in the known universe.”

Cliff has made a career out of “quiet quitting”

Cliff works hard at not working. He gives a 110% to develop scams to not work, thus he has no time to do any work.

I used to get that gung-ho stuff all the time in the military. At an academy you are sworn by the Honor Code not to lie. On the other hand, you were exhorted to say you would give 150%. :)

Exactly as crazy-making as it sounds.

I used to work part time but got fired. It was a full time job..
