Nah. 10% of a cow isn’t another cow. Maybe a goat?

Though as a monopolist, the bean-seller would be likely to blame inflation for his higher price.

If you pay more for it, you’re gonna want more for it.

Stop inflation now. Stop buying things. Let’s get back to the good old days of 2020 when nobody went anywhere and nobody bought anything.

Inflation is a cost of an expanding economy. Too bad wages don’t expand as fast as the prices. I am in favor of increasing the minimum wage, except for West Virginia, because Manchin believes people are crackheads and will use the money to buy drugs.

Personal note: got gas @ $4.15 yesterday. That’s the lowest in a while and about $1.30 below the high reached in the area. If gas goes down and transportation costs fall, won’t that have a commensurate affect on prices?

Inflation is a touchy subject. But if you look back, what you see is from the 1960s hamburger was like 19 cents a pound, through inflation over the next 40-60 years it went up by leaps and bounds to $4.90 a pound 2010. Today hamburger is $6.90 a pound at my grocery store. Looking to go up $$$ some more.,. looks like I’m going to be a vegan. What is not surprising, is that the prices keep going up but never come down.. that seems to be normal business profiteering.

Oddly, inflation is a sign of a strong economy. Much of the inflation is because of price gouging corporations, but they wouldn’t be able to sustain it if people weren’t willing to pay their prices.
