- Jackson has more years of experience as a trial court judge than any Supreme Court justice. She actually has more trial court judge experience than four of the sitting justices combined.

- Like all the justices except Barrett, she attended an Ivy League Law School (Harvard)

- At Harvard Law, she was a supervising editor and graduated with honors

- She also has an undergraduate degree from Harvard, magna with honors

- Like a majority of the justices (5 of the remaining 8), she was a Supreme Court clerk

- Like all the justices except Kagan, she was a Court of Appeals judge

- She was a district judge – only Sotomayor shares that

- She was on the sentencing commission – none of the other justices have done that

- She is the only one to have served as a public defender, and therefore knows how defendants experience the law system, not just police. She also went to public high school instead of private school – six of the eight others went to private school.
