You tell em, Odie!

How do you know that, Garfield? How do you know there’s not another dog at the bottom of the cliff?

It’s like recording yourself on a tape recorder (or an iPhone’s voice recorder app) and you wonder why your voice sounds different.

Imagine if Garfield used a phone to record Odie. Odie would be dumb enough to think it’s another dog if he saw the video and bark at it.

Speaking of dimwits, there’s no one better than the one who planted that sign. The only way to read that sign is to teeter backwards on the edge of the cliff, and if there are any loose rocks, LOOK OUT BELOWWW!

Odie reminds me of when I encounter a barking dog. Should I bark back, I would get different reactions.

Evidently, Odie doesn’t grasp the concept of “echo”…

This seems kinda dumb, but it was established that Odie is so stupid it took him three years to learn to breathe.

Oh, the irony. Odie’s biggest rival is himself.

Hey, the echo insulted Odie’s mother, he had to voice his anger!

And like sooooo many others, Odie loves the sound of his own voice.

Sometimes talking to oneself is the most intelligent conversation you have all day…

That’s like what happened on “Brother Bear” with the two rams repeatedly shouting at their echoes to shut up.

What’s that thing when you ask a question to yourself and you answer back?

Maybe the echo’s back talking to Odie.

He barked a compliment and it came back as an insult…

This could get nasty and only laryngitis will put an end to it.

Hey, now I can wish Odie a happy belated birthday. Happy birthday, pup! Aside from that, it’s been a while since Echo Point has been in a strip. Welcome back!

This is so sad that I have two dogs just like that. One will bark so the other one barks and then they try to figure out what they are barking at in the first place.
