Public school money should only go to public schools. Private schools, and Religious schools are not Public schools and should receive no public money, nor vouchers.
Just make it official already: replace the U.S. Constitution with the Old Testament. Not the New Testament, too touchy feely and wimply, not enough of those honored old-timey values such as stoning, a widow having to marry her brother-in-law if her hubby dies, the keeping of slaves, etc.
The only way this will go away is when they all croak and the next generations will come to the senses….what goes around comes around….I’m just sorry I won’t be here to witness the miracle….
Public money comes with strings attached. Private schools now enjoy no oversight or accountability. They are free to choose the students they want or don’t want. They do not have to test their students for academic outcomes and report it to the government. They don’t have to follow any local, state, and federal policies and regulations. Government money will change all that. Careful what you wish for.
Historian James H. Hutson maintains that Jefferson consistently supported “the principle of government hospitality to religious activity” as long as it was voluntary and offered equally to all citizens. While the government could not legally establish one church or creed as a national faith and support it financially, Jefferson believed that the state, as long as it remained “within its well appointed limits,” “could provide ‘friendly aids’” to religious denominations. Moreover, he used the term “church” rather than “religion” in restating the First Amendment, stressing that “the constitutional separation was between ecclesiastical institutions and the civil state.”
Because snakes were often companions to old mythological gods and goddesses, new mythological Christianity has turned the snake from a positive symbol to a negative symbol.

The RWSC has taken great steps to change the USA into a theocratic “republic” instead of a democracy.

There is no separation of church and state. It is freedom to practice or not practice any religion one wants. Nothing more.
No official religion of the nation. You want to worship a cow, go for it. Worship God? Good for you. Worship Satan? You can.
Don’t want to worship anything, then don’t. No punishment by the government, no law saying you have to.
I think that gets lost a lot.
