By the look of his eyes, he’s afraid of it. or a sneak attack.

Usually, dogs want to chase squirrels, but I guess Marm is a noted exception!

I’m surprised that Marm stopped long enough for Phil to feed the squirrels!

My dog would be chasing that squirrel, dragging me behind while I try to hold on to the leash.

Reminds one of fictional tale of the elephant and the mouse and how the large pachyderm is afraid of the smallest rodent.

I don’t think Marm is afraid of the squirrel. He is trying to hide to he can pop out and ambush a squirrel. Phil is telling him he won’t allow that.
