So you criticize him for not doing more to prevent or defend the Ukraine, but you criticize him for trying to pre-empt China?

I don’t know who is more pathetic: Biden or the fools who still defend him.

US /Taiwan policy of ‘strategic ambiguity’ was called into question by the President’s comments ‘to defend Taiwan’. While the US doesn’t have such a treaty w/ Taiwan, neither does it have a treaty w/ Ukraine…. somewhat of a moot point, I’d say.

The Taiwan Relations Act of 1979 provides for the U.S. to sell military armament to Taiwan for self defense. Nothing more.

Biden accurately stated US policy as established by current law.

I think it was a stroke of genius – Biden says we’ll defend Taiwan, and his handlers deny. What better way to keep the Chinese guessing about our Taiwan strategy! They have absolutely no idea how Biden will react when they invade. Unfortunately, neither does anyone in Biden’s administration, including Biden.

The problem here is that Biden’s policies are working so well that all the Republicans can do is attack him personally.

Next thing you know, Biden will begin raving about the “Incredible Transformation” that has workers unable to afford to get to work. And three-quarters of both parties saying that the country is heading in the wrong direction. And the Supreme Court under constant assault while Biden’s Attorney General ignores 18 U.S.C. § 1507. And a new Ministry of Truth tyrant who attacks parents who oppose CRT for “Weaponizing anger for profit”. And negative GDP. And runaway inflation. And a 20-year high violent crime rate. And casting a group of unarmed protestors as attempting to overthrow the government that has the largest military force on the planet. Come to think of it, go ahead and pull the safety pins. Both of them.

He frequently blurts out things that need to be denied or retracted, but in this instance I think he was right to say what he did. P.S., ‘gotta admire his flexibility in so often putting his foot in his mouth while his head’s up his arse…

Anyone remember Reagan’s ‘hot mike’ comments? His aids called it ‘just kidding’. Biden wasn’t kidding. The U.S. is committed to defending The Republic of China. The People’s Republic of China know that well. If they thought anything less they’d have invaded already.

This is why you don’t let your puppet speak without a puppet master in control.

And more bad news for the Democrats, he’s coming back.

QPubs want to twist this into some controversy, but everything Biden said is 100% in line with Public Law 96-8 (Taiwan Relations Act – April 1979) which is still the governing law on this issue.

If you will notice all of the RWNJs who have come out of hiding to attack the person they believe Biden is. They also defended Trump against anyone pointing out how deranged Trump’s statements were and still are.

The most frequently seen headline lately…“White House forced to walk back Biden comments”.
