All the unwanted will go to for-profit tax-funded orphanages where they will be fed and housed (NOT EDUCATED) until they are old enough to go into service. Military, production or domestic.

It still allows the fallacy that making abortion illegal would stop it. The back allies will be in business, including killing viable fetuses.

This brings to mind Swift’s “A Modest Proposal.” Would human infants, properly prepared, taste like veal or pork? Gourmet cooking shows may soon arise on Fox.

Adding to the vileness of the statement “domestic infant supply” is adding the limit of “relinquished at birth or within the first month of life”. This confirms that these RWNJs do not care about the children at all, they want newborns and any older than one month are not “desirable”.

This is another ‘toon with a LOT of detail. I don’t see any masks or hats- which makes me wonder if Clay did that on purpose. Americans Against America (credit to Kip) never believed in masks and certainly doesn’t believe in letting chattel have accessories.

Joe Manchin’s First Foray Into GOP Politics Ends in Stinging Defeat

West Virginia Democratic Senator Joe Manchin’s endorsement in a Republican primary wasn’t enough to sway GOP voters from casting their ballots for former President Donald Trump’s candidate instead.

The Girls Who Went Away: The Hidden History of Women Who Surrendered Children for Adoption in the Decades Before Roe V. Wade by Ann Fessler

A powerful and groundbreaking revelation of the secret history of the 1.5 million women who surrendered children for adoption in the several decades before Roe v. Wade

In this deeply moving work, Ann Fessler brings to light the lives of hundreds of thousands of young single American women forced to give up their newborn children in the years following World War II and before Roe v. Wade. The Girls Who Went Away tells a story not of wild and carefree sexual liberation, but rather of a devastating double standard that has had punishing long-term effects on these women and on the children they gave up for adoption. Based on Fessler’s groundbreaking interviews, it brings to brilliant life these women’s voices and the spirit of the time, allowing each to share her own experience in gripping and intimate detail. Today, when the future of the Roe decision and women’s reproductive rights stand squarely at the front of a divisive national debate, Fessler brings to the fore a long-overlooked history of single women in the fifties, sixties, and early seventies.

Adoption is not cure-all option. Single parenthood is often not a cure-all. Abortion is often not a cure-all. However, if the girl has an abortion, she doesn’t have to constantly wonder. Meanwhile, the “father” is out and about with little or no consequences. He’s a “stud”. Not a “slut”. F’ing patriarchy.

Historically, women were treated like cattle — owned by men, or enslaved by men. No political or civil rights. So i can see why these justices think women today should have only those rights the state legislatures decide to grant them. It is but a short step to limiting other rights that were not already established by benevolent male dominated political regimes. A remodeled version of the early 1800’s before books by women were published.

Let’s see. After abortion is outlawed, are they going to make every kind of birth control illegal? No Pill, no condoms, no Morning After Pill, etc.
