    If you’re constantly checking your watch while engaged in an activity such as watching a baseball game, it’s a good sign you don’t actually like that activity. So why not just go do something else and spare the rest of us—the ones who would prefer four hours at the ballpark to just about anything, sex excepted—in peace?

    With an automatic runner on second base during extra-inning games, this one should have been over. I think it’s a Little League maneuver myself. Who cares how long a game goes and why do they find it necessary to try to shorten them? Soon we’ll see ads on the uniforms! [shudder].

    It would help to shorten the games if there were less commercials. Play is stopped or stalled until all the ads are done. Also enough with all the twitching of the batters in and out of the batter’s box and pitchers taking a lot of time between pitches. Not to mention getting rid of the shift.
