Tell me again the advantage to the middle class of a political system where only the very wealthy [or those sponsored/influenced by the very wealthy] can afford to run for office.
Very good, Matt. Unfortunately the average American voter has never been able to prioritize correctly.
Congress should be conducting hearings now about the oil companies’ role in this situation. Instead it plays political games and reinforces the consumer’s ignorance l
My insurance company denied the insulin I was on starting the first of April. They gave a list of what they would cover. One on there, my doctor said he wouldn’t prescribe it to his worst enemy. Side effects on what it would do to other organs, and weight gain.
Luckily I changed my diet, and not on insulin anymore. If my A1C does go up, he said an oral medication should get it back under control.
the GQP can not support a reduction in medications because big pharma company’s fund there campaigns and we all know they only care about getting elected and not actually helping the American public. Still the American public votes for them, I don’t get it!
You can thank Biden, instead of blaming Congress, for freezing the two Trump drug rules that controlled pricing of insulin and EpiPens (https://tinyurl.com/bdz5zm8b).
Two years ago Trump pressured the Saudi’s to cut production, raising the cost of gas by 24%. Fox News applauded. 193 republicans voted against capping insulin at $35 a pop. Corporate profits and protecting the wealth of the donor class is all they stand for.

One vial of insulin costs $2-$6.
This is gouging people who literally die if they cannot get insulin.

Hey! Didn’t Obama and Dementia Joe tell us that Obamacare was going to solve the high drug-price dilemma?

It was Congress that forbid the government from negotiating lower drug prices. $$$$$

Giggity Gaetz seriously believes that no one would need insulin if they just lost some weight.
