    We know that the Sumerians had musical lyre-like instruments even earlier than 200B.C., so ’music" had existed earlier, even if we do not have it in notational form. (For that matter, Neandertalers had flute-like bone instruments perhaps 60000 years ago https://tinyurl.com/mryuapfp ). The key here is written notation. Also, having a resident wizard helps….
