I gave up trying to figure out what Mr. Ramirez was trying to say. It must be very deep, and important. /S

If you don’t like the budget do something about the wars, epidemics, hurricanes, state-wide forest fires and tornados.

Wait, that would take acknowledging climate change and regime change. Two things we’re afraid to discuss.

Democrats have control of the Senate, the House and the Whitehouse. They’ve handed control over to the Far-Far Left.

America’s economy and our respect abroad is in a ditch and getting worse.

annual growth of 3% forecast. not great, but not as bad as one might suspect, given the circumstances. our wingnut brethren above are clueless as always…

If Biden can ruin the economy in just one year, just think of where we’ll be at the end of 2024.

The budget proposal is one of the most sane we’ve seen in quite some time, a welcome relief from the Republican ideas that deficits don’t matter (except when a Democrat is president), the market will take care of everything, and the wealthy don’t have enough money and power.

Good cartoon, Ramirez. We must stop Biden from fixing the economy or we Republicans will never get elected again.

The wildfires, extreme storms and huge hurricanes due to climate change we have seen in the past few years were predicted by scientists years ago, and we have done nothing to stop it. Now we pay billions to repair the damage they cause. Yet we are unwilling to pay for the coming disasters that will be even worse because of climate change. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of repair.

Gee, Sr. Ramirez has reverted to out and out lying. Does he not know that the deficit has gone down under Biden? If he doesn’t he should. If he doesn’t he shouldn’t be a cartoonist. Wait a minute, he isn’t, he’s just a GOP propogandist.

It’s a safe assumption that Ramirez spent his time selling copies of Ronald Reagan’s biography for the Federalist Society instead of attending any Economics class.

    Basic economics:

One doesn’t spend one’s self out of debt.

When you find yourself in a hole, stop digging. Politicians don’t seem to comprehend this.Government wants to take money from those who have worked to earn it, give it to those who don’t.

Every government dollar has a string attached to it, if you want it, you must spend it as we say.

So many people fail to understand that government money is tax dollars taken from the citizens.

The only money the government “makes” is what comes off the printing press.

Equality is where everyone starts at the same place with the same opportunities.

Equity is where everyone gets the same prize regardless of effort, or lack thereof, exerted.

Would there be a Kentucky Derby, Indy 500, NASCAR, Olympics, etc. if all competitors were awarded the same prize?

It might have a chance of passing if we add a bunch of tax breaks and add even more for the Pentagon. It’s all about today’s image, right? It’s not about planning for the future, at least if we judge by past experience….

Biden is releasing gas from the Strategic Reserve. We paid to put it into the reserve, we will now pay for it again at the pumps, then pay again to restock the reserve. How does this help the economy?

More taxes on more things, more IRS employees to police those taxes and more regulations on all things ought to solve everything.
