I am so glad we spent the money for an electric car and get our power from renewables

Yeah. Keep showing the rising prices and extra long lines- a typical reaction to any type of fuel shortage but made tragic by repetition. Than keep rerunning film of the same empty shelves in supermarkets, etc. Pump the fear. Great for business, no? News has become more about bottom lines than headlines.

We are at war whether we like it or not.

I am glad that my street is not on the front line. I’m also glad that we are fighting it with economic means rather than soldiers. I’m too old to fight anyway.

I did my tiny bit at work. As a Supply Chain Analyst it was my job to send out a mass mailer to our suppliers asking them to identify parts or services they get from Russia.

I can afford gasoline at almost any price. My concern is for those people who cannot afford to go to work. Minimum wage is not keeping up. We need some sort of system to subsidize these people so they can continue to work and pay taxes rather than go on welfare.

Independent truckers can claim fuel costs as a business expense – that’s some help.

I do not have sympathy for the Canyonayro owners whose two and a half ton vehicle gets 12.5 miles to the gallon. If you can afford the land yacht, you can afford the gas.

I’ve always thought that $4/gal precipitated the 2008 collapse by straining the economy until the weakest link, the housing market scam, brought the whole house of cards down. We never learn. Normal’s not coming back.

If that’s what it takes to knock Putin’s dick in the dirt, I’ll gladly pay $7.00. It definitely won’t be forever.

^ There are currently over 2000 federal oil leases out there that haven’t been touched by the oil companies because they’re dry holes. The point is lost on Biden and Kama-lama-ding dong, who think that the American public will believe any pronouncement made by someone in power.

Time for the “Don’t Say Gas” bill?

Ridiculous. We in Germany are already at 8.50 €/gallon (that are 9,28 USD) and it is still rocketlike increasing. But if this is the price we have to pay – it should be.

Putin doesn’t carpet bomb. Russians and Ukrainians are one face, one race. Biden is the Dr. Strangelove of our era. Biden should be put in the insane asylum. 25th Amendment.

Simple solution, albeit temporary, suspend the gas tax for the rest of the year!

Filled up our car in Germany yesterday. Prices were above $10 per gallon. Diesel prices, which are usually the cheapest, were by far the most expensive at around $11 per gallon.
