He might appreciate a little kitty company. The Shepherd I had loved hanging out with cats. Other dogs, he could be standoffish with, but cats never.

I’ll play with you pal! Tennis ball though not a stick. We’ll have fun!

yeah, fetch just isn’t the same when you’re playing solo!

My yard is slightly different… theme song: Kita (dog), let go of the cat.

My dog figured out how to play fetch with himself. He would catch a grasshopper and then roll on his back and let it jump out of his mouth. He would then wiggle and roll over trying to catch grasshopper before it hit the ground again.

We have a woof woof stranger in our midst

Look up the video of the dog playing by himself. He drops the ball in a stream, and runs after, and then does it again and again.

But my one dog played it all the time….

I knew a German shepherd who played fetch by himself. He was a big dog—maybe 130 lbs—and would lodge a stick under his collar, twist his neck to throw it the length of his yard, then run and catch it.

Our dachshund Angel could throw a ball for herself to fetch.

Life is lonely for a branch manager.
