good reason

It has to be really cold outside.

There snow reason to wears them without reason.

I don’t call what I have a hoodie. I call it a hooded sweatshirt.

I don’t put the hood up unless there’s a good reason.

I do not wear hoodies for a hoodie cuts off your side vision which could get you hurt when walking outside ;-)

And they keep the back of their pants hiked up too.

On a cold day in the rag-top, a hoodie is ideal for keeping the wind off the back of your head.

For pluggers there is almost always a reason for whatever we are doing. Experience allows us to draw that very fine line between lazy and efficient ; )

Hoodies also help cover a Pluggers “Plumber’s butt” when he bends over to scoop the snow.

In Saskatchewan, and this little corner of BC, they are called “Bunnyhugs.” Origins of the term are diverse, from a dance originating in San Francisco in the 1920s to a period of time when hunting rabbits in the province in an attempt to curb the population to hooded pullover sweatshirts sold out of Eaton’s catalogue in the 1950s and 60s.

I wear my earmuffs over top b/c it keeps the wind from blowing in, even when I have it tied tight, the wind blows in. Brrr.

Never buy a coat without one! Just saying, hoodies don’t do much for pouring rain/snow!I live in the mountains in snow country, I’ve learned to put my socks OUTSIDE my jeans/leggings with my boots so the snow isn’t able to get inside as easily. Works great and no one knows the difference!

To be warm, Not ‘cool’.

i always smile a wry smile when i see another clueless fashion wannabe with the hoodie pulled up while driving, blocking most of his field of view. and give that guy a wide berth…

Ah, he is the most interesting plugger in the world!

Husband has 3 zipper sweatshirts – from which he had me remove the hoods – to wear in the house. He has 3 different ones with zippers to wear outside the house, plus he has 2 pullover, hooded sweatshirts to wear outside the house.

“No, wait, I forgot to change to my outside sweatshirt!”

If he wears 4 total a season it is a lot.
