Then you have politicians who pass laws whose consequences do not apply to them.

Take for example, the do not call list. It does not apply to political campaigns and PACs.

This applies to so many things in so many cases, along with “Mind your OWN business”. . .

An appropriate response would be “You first and let’s see what happens”.

I’ll give advice, but if I don’t have to deal with the consequences, I’ll finish it off with a “but I don’t know” or “but that’s just me” to absolve myself of any future guilt.
