My hubby retired age 62, he plays computer games watches old shows, for me I was forced out before age 62 I was part time for county then place forced out two years later closed, for me I tried community college and that went no where, then looked after my mom who died from cancer, now I am fully retired read books, watch programs, walk and exercise, also do puzzles.
I’ve pondered this while watching LoTRs, the elves are immortal, Elrond has lived thousands of years. I guess seeing the world change would be interesting but one would think that after a while it would be tedious.

My granddaughter told me she hopes I never die… but if I do, can she have my house? She was 10 at the time. Now she wants to live in Chicago.

I’m a list maker, and check it off as I complete each task….

As a gamer, I can only imagine the advances in technology and the great RPGs that would come out. If I die, I’d miss out on them.

I already do that! If the To Do list is completed I’ll be out of reasons to hang around.

Earl has a point. The less time spent around Opal, the better.
