Well, a bit of a retcon there. J.J. Didn’t start her performance art stuff until some time after they were married.

Mike should have paid attention to the clues earlier on. However, if he hadn’t, he probably would have never met Kim . . .

Why was she wearing a ‘happy face’ mask and holding a duck pool float at his wedding? Very strange!

I tried to find the original wedding strips but couldn’t. Do they exist or was that another summertime daydream?

Apparently the Mike/J. J. wedding happened off-screen during a hiatus during the 80s. Trudeau produced a panel as a lithograph that was also used as a Life magazine cover about the return of the strip.

Is this strip (yes, I know it’s a re-run) the only on-panel depiction of Mike’s and JJ’s wedding? As I recall, the wedding actually took place in the musical, not in the strip.

His big worry is her showing up for the 2nd wedding wearing the same “Bridal Outfit”.
