Oh, the irony. Sotomayor showed that she has a lower IQ than Forrest Gump. Plot twist, Forrest Gump had a much higher IQ in the movie but an idiot bureaucrat decided to say that he had a low IQ. The bureaucrat just wanted a “date” with Mrs. Gump.
I look forward to Varvel’s cartoons on the fetid stream of malicious, destructive lies that the Dishonest Dastard will spew at its super-spreader event this Saturday in Arizona.
Hey, Varvie, the Indiana state legislature is in session.
Among the bills recently introduced are one to eliminate having to get a permit to carry a concealed handgun, one to permit firearms on all “public campuses,” several different ones to gut public health responses (not just limited to vaccines against the SARS-CoV-2 virus,) one to require separate, complete lesson-plans for any pupil whose parents object to anything covered in class, et myriad cetera.
It was not stupidity, it was ignorance. That’s the difference between not having the wits to understand, versus not having the information to know; Sonia is not a stupid woman, she just did not have the correct information. On the other hands – intentionally promoting false information, or a false interpretation of said information, indicates willful maleficence, being delusional, or supporting Democratic Party politics, LOL.
Rounding up from 86,000+ to 100,000 is not stupid, nor necessarily a mistake. It is desperation by the critics. Rounding up by the 100s of thousands, as tRump did, was simply a lie.
‘It’s starting to go into my lungs’: Unvaxxed Glenn Beck says he has Covid-19 again
Former Fox News personality claims to be treating himself with Ivermectin, an anti-parasite drug that has not been shown to be effective against Sars-CoV-2
Colin Powell stood in front of the United Nations holding what he was told was yellow-cake to help justify taking down Iraq. He took a lot of slack, and he apologized more than once. He is remembered reverently by people in both parties.
There is always a big picture, Mr. Varvel. You might want to pay attention to it.
I read the Washington Post every day, and that means I read the Fact Checker. I note that when Republicans earn Four Pinocchios, which is way more frequent than when Republican Enemies earn the award, it’s greeted with “ho-hum, what’s new” and is not mentioned in the comics.
But when an American citizen who Republicans deem an “enemy” makes such a statement, time to make it a four-alarm fire.
Maybe if Democrats started lying and trying to re-write history as often as the Republicans do, we’ll reach parity.
More likely than asking Republican politicians to start telling the truth….Sad!
Hundreds of doctors petition Spotify to address Joe Rogan’s ‘history of broadcasting misinformation’
A collection of 270 medical professionals reportedly signed an open letter to Spotify asking the media platform to rein in Joe Rogan, its most listened to podcaster, whom they accuse of promoting junk science with regards to the COVID pandemic. Their chief complaint is aimed at a Dec. 31 episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience” featuring right-wing media darling Dr. Robert Malone, who is a COVID-vaccine skeptic. The group behind the letter — first published by Rolling Stone — describes itself as a “coalition of scientists, medical professionals, professors, and science communicators.
2AndFour (scroll ⇧) demonstrates that an inability to put together an intelligible sentence need not stand in the way when you really, really want to show everyone that you can’t put together a sentence that make sense. his rightwing brethren should be proud to have such an eloquent advocate on their side…

She did. It makes me SAD. But it doesn’t change the fact that she’s every bit as much… or more a Supreme Court Justice as any of the others.
