Well … that worked … sort of.

Red, you should have taken off your pants to cover the rest of Rover.

For Rover, Red will give you the shirt off his back. Just can’t get enough of them palling around!

Redirection. Clever move.

We have a chair in the living room that we can never get rid of because Newton has claimed it for his own. (It drives my son crazy when he visits because in his opinion, dogs should not be allowed on furniture.)

Not a real Mom. Real mothers would spot an animal on a couch from the other room!

Ha! Like you could put that pass mom! LOL

But Rover looks so cute on the sofa! My Lizzie has her own recliner, lol!

I have never refused any pets to be on my furniture, even when new. I have leather, which is easily cleaned. Dogs and cats just want to be near us most of the time. Sunbeams on the carpet from the windows can get top billing sometimes. I swear my dog can sense a good sunbeam before it even hits the floor.

I just noticed that Red’s mom looks like a crew memeber of the original USS Enterprise

Red looks even cuter without his shirt.

Yes Mom….

So is Rover too comfy to move, or too tired?

If you want the best seat in the house you will need to move the dog.
