Buckles is worth every penny…..

Would you really prefer that stuff to Buckles? Poor Buckles!

I hope Paul doesn’t discover how much raising a human child costs.

Just noticed, THE MISSING WEEK OF B UCKLES IS BACK

This one just tore out my heart , the last panels is so sad , but as usual David depicted the precious Buckles just as lovable as he always does .

I would rather have my little guy than any big screen tv or pool table.

Your dog will stand firm between you and danger. So long as it lives, within its’ ability, no harm will come to you. “There is no greater love than to lay down your life for your friends.” That kind of love is worth every cent it cost you and you got the better end of the bargain.

Who could look at that sad little face and still want those other things? I wouldn’t trade Buckles in for anything.

How could you be so heartless, Paul? This must be the reason why Buckles dislikes the Dog Owner’s Monthly magazines that Paul gets in the mail.

If that’s all you cost, you’re worth 10 times that and more……

I really dislike Paul, he is so selfish. Buckles is worth more than any stupid bar or anything, he is your best friend and a living being, shame on you Paul! I love Buckles!

Well now Paul…let’s see how you could have both your pool table AND Buckles. You may want to consider a less expensive house, or cutting back on your take out food. Quite buying Starbucks coffee…having a companion like Buckles would be worth every sacrifice IMHO.

Sadly every story needs an antagonist like Paul to counterbalance the protagonist, Buckles

Oh yeah, and Buckles had just run amok in a pet store racking up a huge bill.

Buckles’ expression in panel #4 just breaks my heart! I lost my beloved fur-baby 2-1/2 years ago after having had her for 17 wonderful years and I’d give anything in the world if only I could hold her in my arms again for just one more day. She was such a loving little sweet-heart, and I wouldn’t trade a single penny I spent on her for any kind of material possession that I (or you) could possibly think of. Paul is a completely selfish and heartless jerk! :-(

<=== had my gorgeous rescue baby girl for 8 yrs and lost her 1.5 yrs ago. Have continued my love for her with a handsome rescue boy that we got about 2 mo after she left us. Could never be without a dog again.
