Wait. That’s what I was doing when I got the virus.

Come to work when you’re sick, it’s not like there is a pandemic or anything

I’m not a doctor, but I have read THE ABC’S OF SURGERY.

I actually had a boss that that. :-{

The very first time I worked from home was in 1987. My boss called me on a Saturday and was all kinds of apologetic, but he needed a report and knew that it was an hour commute for me to get to work.

I dialed in on my blazingly fast 2400 baud modem, ran the report and sent it to one of the printers. I then called him back and told him to walk down the hall to pick it up.

He asked, “How did you do that?” I told him, “magic.”

Since then, I have always has some options to work from home and when I was sick, I did.

At least at home you could stay in bed.

I thought we were done with making people come into the office sick?

Yep…have them come in and spread those germs and make everybody else sick. Not a very wise boss (even before COVID).

Sorry, no likes today. We don’t need people who possibly have the Virus showing up at work (or anywhere public!)

Sure.. come in and make the rest of us sick so we can take time off

The boss made him come to work sick?

Anything short of smallpox is not really sick to the boss

Hope the boss thinks the same thing when he is sick tomorrow…….

That’s Ralph All-heart there. Great guy.

He’ll be voted employee of the month for making everyone else sick so they can stay home.

Mr. Jackass (only realistic name I can come up with for the boss) will sing a different tune when half the office doesn’t make it into work next week.

This is an example of capitalism in its trust form.

I never missed school or work. Looking back, I wonder how many I made sick.
